Winter Hair Tips

When it starts getting cold, and the heat comes on, I tend to get dry, frizzy, staticy hair.  One of the things I’ve found to help with this is less shampoo and more conditioner.  Did you know that you can actually “wash” your hair with conditioner?  I typically only shampoo my hair once or twice a week during the winter.  Don’t get me wrong, I shower every single day (sometimes twice a day if I work out), I just don’t use shampoo every time.  Instead, I used an extra-large dose of conditioner to ensure that my hair is thoroughly saturated, and then I give it a vigorous scrubbing to loosen any product residue or sweat and then rinse it right out.  This helps keep my hair clean, and moisturized throughout the dry winter months.
